Well I've been beating games like crazy lately. Here are the tally marks...
Dragon Quest 8 - Really sweet story and high production values mixed with beautiful Graphics. On the lame side the battles get REALLY, really, boring after a while.
Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition - I had already beat it before, but this one came with a sweet new mode to play as Virgil so I went ahead and beat it with both Characters. Really, really worth the $20.
Parasite Eve - I totally loved this game, hard to say why but after getting passed the Alligator boss I really began to pick up on it.
Parasite Eve 2 - At first I didnt think I was going to like it as much after watching my friend play it. Boy was I wrong, got the Sad ending though... Didnt use the guide -.-;
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories - Played it a work and beat it there. Alot of fun with a really sweet story. I figured I'd beat it before the second one came out. Currently working on Rikku's game.
And now currently in the works is the new Shadow Hearts: From the New World, which is awesome. Its really sad if you missed out on the Covenent but you really dont neet to have played that one to get going here. Totally new this time around, though you might miss out one some amusing cameos. Hope to have it beat before Kingdome Hearts 2.
That is all... Current Mood: crazy

Yeah, Ok, my arms really fucken hurt. Went to the gym with Patrick yesterday and now Im sore as hell. Funny thing, I worked until my left arm would burn out cause my right CLEARLY could take more weight but for the oddest reason my right arm is the one thats killing me.
And on an off not, some drunk ass woman ran into our telephone pole and knocked the fucker down. Heh, heh, but it would seem to have no effect on any of our lines. (More accurately she ran over the wire attached at the base of the pole pulling the whole thing down.)
PS War of the Worlds was really good. I had a blast watching it. Current Mood: aggravated

|Anger?! THAT PISSES ME OFF!!!!
I’ve been playing GOD OF WAR a lot lately, and still have the great desire to. The Game is so amazing, I've been going through the Trial of the Gods, made it to the 8th by the way, and with so many enemies on screen its amazing how the game can still move at, what a solid 40 frames per second? while still managing no slow down while it BEATS THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF YOU!!!
This only enhances the experience as the game brings you closer to the character of Kratos. Yes indeed, its strange the sincere ecstasy that creeps over you when you grab an enemy and proceed to rip them apart all the while crying: "RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!
!! EAT IT BITCH! I GOT SOME MORE FOR YOUR FRIENDS TOO!!" This is typically followed by your own death resulting in quoted: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! MOTHERFUCKERS!!! YOUR ALL GONNA FUCKEN DIE!!!" which really wraps up the whole Kratos experience. Oh and did I mention that in the Trail of the Gods once you quite it doesn’t save your progress? Man that is sooooo hilarious, Ha ha ha, I just can stop laughing about it, I mean up till 4 in the morning just trying to beat #8
and all of a sudden you quit and then BAM stage one awe that just, wow, dude, wow. There is more love charging through my veins right now... Boiling, red, hot, blistering love that makes me want to reach out and hug someone till they stop moving forever. Current Mood: ITS LOVE DAMNIT!!!

Well I picked up Advent Rising yesterday and I must say, it aint perfect, but it is a hell of alot of fun. Honostly I think the game suffers from a little bit of lazy programming such as the Hit detection when it comes to fighting melee, the disepearing enemies and some of the platform jumping looks a little awkward at times, the rather low AI, and the fact that in cutscene everyone is running uniform. It really seems like the game is almost too much for the Xbox. That being said it is still one hell of a good time. The action never stops, their is somthing happening on screen ALL THE TIME really drawing you into the war like epic feel of the game. Somthing else that is kinda neet that I didn't really pay too much attention to before was the whole choice and outcome system they implemented. You could really do these with out even relizing they're there. It will be interesting to see how they effect the later game or games in the future. As of right now Im only 30+ minutes into the game so Ill keep you posted.
On a side note, I just beat the house with Lewis in RE4 on Pro, and can anyone guess what I got? Thats right lots and lots of ammo.

|Resident Evil Pro
Well I just owned El Gigante on Professional, and I really must say that so far it hasnt been that difficult. Course that will probably change once I get to the house but I never really had an ammo problem. As a matter of fact, I haven't even bought the TMP unlike some people that recommended it as a must have for the Pro difficulty. Course then again there are also those people out there who want to Pay $500 for a gaming system rather then $350 for something that looks just as good.
Yeah, there are some real dumbasses out there...

|'You want to see more you say? Than click right here, on let me play!'
This stupid damn library computer game wont shut up about that, so I decide that would be perfect for a title. Its been quite some time since my last post so I just decided I write something, like maybe my top 5 anime shows, with a special bonus. Maybe.... But only if your good.
1 Fullmetal Alchemist
(Love at first sight, the more mature aspect of this show is really rather unique and the artful way everything connects was really well done and packed with emotion)
(There are so many fanboys and girls out there that it makes me sick, but after actually watching the show it is damn near impossible not to fall in love with it)
3 Love Hina
(One of those rare instances were the show draws into a conclusion, and I'll be damned if I dont nearly bust a gut in every episode)
(Heh, there really isnt much I can say that could make one understand how AWESOME this show really is, without actually seeing it)
5 Cowboy Bebop
(This last one was a toughy, and I had to think long and had about it but over all due to quality of animation, story, and character design I had to pick it)
All of these have Outstanding musical scores which is a large part to why I choose them. You can really feel for the characters as you watch and become absorbed into their world even if its only for the briefest amount of time.
In other news I just beat God of War, and I must say I am very impressed. No small part in the fact that its been a couple of days and I still want to go back. Then I got to thinking, who would win in an all out action character brawl, unfortunately all I could think of were Blood Rayne, Dante, and the recent Kratos. This is just a thought that I throw out to you guys, so if you can think of any more characters in particualar and who you think would win please toss it on here. I'd love to here some opinions, and while your at it why not put down your own top 5 on this journal or your own. I just think it would be interesting to see what everybody is into.

|Just an Interesting bit of Information.
Found out that a couple of intresting little tid bits in the latest EGM.
Ok really only one, It turns out the the Japanese still get the cooler stuff when it comes to RE4. Like some type of DVD that has 10 minutes of the original game footage on it and actual interview and stuff. Which is far better than the 10 minutes of crap we got for our pre-orders.
However, the interesting part is that they had to wait like 2 weeks later and got a censored version of the game. "How censored?" you ask, well no longer do the enemies heads get blown off and neither does the chain saw make Leon about 1 foot shorter. I just thought that was kinda interesting, seeing how we get the full game and they get all this neat stuff with it.
Worken the weekend, getting a PSP hopefully soon. Now that Im getting paid time and a-half I'll make more than enough. I would really like to purchase some fitness equipment or at least barrow some, maybe work out and shape up before Otakon. Alas I have no room to but such items least not till I move out anyway but that wont be for like 9 months or so.
Also need to check out this art school see if they have internet courses for when I move out, not quite sure yet.

It would appear that Square Enix is actually making a movie to Fullmetal Alchemist that is going to have the same director from the TV series. The reason I am so exited about this is because, this show being my favorite anime and all, really had a wrong ending (Entire series seen thanks to Johnie and WinMX). Im not saying that its wrong in that 'everyone dies or the story ends tragicly' kinda way. More to the point of there was a right way to end the series and a wrong, unfortunetly it ended up the latter.
This is the reason for my exitement over the movie, though it pry wont make it state side till next year, for it takes place 2 years after the events of the show rather then being one of the Elric Brothers mis-adventures, which thankfully and for the most part are told through their games.
As one of the very few series that has really taken me through a torrent of emotions as I've whatched to points even when I've almost cryed, the news of this movie really puts me in a state of relief. Current Mood: relieved

|What the ef?!
Ok. I started to download Fullmetal Alchemist ep.13 which was in Qued. No biggy, so I left it run till I got off work just now. And instead of that episode fully downloaded, I find my Computer has not only restarted, but has downloaded programs that I never asked it to, while at the same time neglecting to even start on Fullmetal Alchemist.
These 2 strange new Items on my computer are, ATI Catalyst & AOL pop up blocker (which when asked I said no to wanting it).
Fuck this game.... Current Mood: tired
|Thursday, January 27th, 2005|
Well it appears that I have quite a few Jobs just jumping up and hitting me in the face. As of now I start at PPG monday, 3rd shift (12 to 8am) and my mom is putting in an appliction for me to GM, which will likely hire me. Unfortunatly both of these places seem to be wanting me for quite some time and that may not allow me to go to Otakon this year. It is very unlikely that I would have the ability to call off such days, just starting out.
Oh well life is all about Sacrifice, loss and gain. and from most of the stories of truely great men the more you risk and lose the more you gain and the closer to your dreams you become. Current Mood: depressed

Its finaly done, the great unlocking has ended and now all of the game is now mine, save for a few bottle caps here and there, not to mention the only treasure you must complete the game three times to get the whole set.
Now I can work on those I guess though I know it wont be quite as rewarding.
Oh and Ben had me make a new Item set, consisting of....
16 First Aid Sprays
1 Large mouth Bass
2 Small Bass
1 Golden Egg
The Chicago Typewritter
And so the raping continues...
I'd just like to take this moment to thank all parties involved in helping me achieve this wonderous goal.
Those Parties consist of:
Ben & Johnies MAN SANDWICH
"made by men, for men and loved by all."
Kudos guys!! Would have taken me forever to muster up the will to sit and do this all by myself. Plus the glory to completing each level would not have been nearly as sweet. Current Mood: accomplished

|Hunk is off De'hook
Yeah, Johnie and I spent till about 2am from like 4pm just beating the shit out of RE 4. We have but 4 more levels, FOUR!!! Until we unlock Barry's handcannon. I did most of the work on Ada, the like last 3 levels, while he did most of the work with Hunk, save for the first mission. We both worked on Wesker, I think we're even as far as he goes, and he beat the first mission with Krauser, while I beat the first mision with Leon. So were does that leave us you ask?
Leon: 3 missions
(His weapon selection kinda sucks really)
(Thank god for the Rifle!!!)
(Instant kill arrows, and Super Mega Death attack)
Hunk: 1 mission
(Dude, I dont care what you say, you have to be badass to be Hunk)
(Great weapon selection and Power attacks, to many 'nades)
And there you have it. With any luck we may have it unlocked tommarro. Unfortunatly I dont think I can go back to Johnies then due to his homework assignment. I can try to do it by myself but its always comforting knowing I have some backup. Ah handcannon.... I really like that word, I should use it in one of my stories! Like Judgement! Or Corge Isle.! I mean it sounds so badass. THE HANDCANNON.
he he he.... Current Mood: anxious

|Resident Evil 4
Wow, all I can say is wow. I dont think I have ever been drawn into a game so deeply as I have RE4. Im being completely serious when I say, and as a connoisseur of the series since '97, this may be my favorite of the series. The reviewers sure as hell where not lieing about the boss battles, exhilarating and fun with little unique twists to them that I have never seen in Resident Evil.
And on a personal note, I always felt good when I killed them, like slaying a horrable dragon. Which to me is kinda how the game presents itself. A valiant knight (Cowboy in this case) rescuing the princess from some great kingdom while battling through its legions, and conquring its monsters. Your swords those of modern times and your armour that of speed, skill, and precision. I always feel a sence of pride whenever I make it through the last obsticle, even (and this is most of the time) if its by the skin off ass. The game never lets you have the upper hand, at least on your first time through. However, despite that fact it never lets you lose hope either even if you have no health, one herb, and only 3 shells.
Oh and on a final note I've come to like the Ashley affair, the whole leading her around and protection. Because it must be for the first time ever but your little partner is not an idiot. When you aim your gun she runs BEHIND YOU and STAYS THERE, and even ducks if she's in your line of fire eleminating the whole ACIDENTLE BEATING WITH A PIPE. Those who play survival horror know what I mean.
Hell, screw just the RE series, this may be one of my favorite games of all time. Current Mood: ecstatic
